Digitas UK has appointed Anne Stagg as CEO to help accelerate the agency’s growth and deliver a positive impact for its clients.
Anne will lead Digitas UK, helping to grow the agency, shaping its next phase of evolution and reinforcing its leadership in an increasingly complex marketing landscape.
Digitas UK continues to build momentum, with strong growth and award-winning work for its clients, winning an IPA Effectiveness Award, an Effie and nine BIMA awards in 2024, as well as its data and analytics team named best in the business at the DataIQ awards.
Anne joins from Dentsu where she was CEO of the CXM (customer experience) practice across the UK and Ireland and Merkle CEO. She also sat on the Merkle European leadership team. With a career spanning more than 30 years, Anne was influential in shaping Dentsu’s approach to customer engagement, drawing on her extensive expertise in data, technology, and creative strategy. She joined Dentsu in 2019.
Anne joins Digitas UK in the summer, reporting to Sam Hawkey, CEO of Digitas EMEA.

Prior to Dentsu, Anne was managing director at Indicia and chief client officer at parent company KMMS where she was responsible for driving client growth and satisfaction and spearheading business development. Earlier in her career, Anne led business development for Communisis agency in 2012 and was commercial director at more2 for four years, where she was responsible for managing the data client management and analytics team. At Experian Marketing Services, Anne held senior roles focused on marketing activation and client strategy, refining her ability to deliver impactful business outcomes.
