Digitas has announced the appointment of Melissa Levy as chief customer officer. In this new role, Melissa will focus on organic growth with existing clients, leveraging her years of account management experience at Digitas to build new solutions and uncover new opportunities that engage, nurture, and strengthen client businesses and relationships.
Melissa has been at Digitas for 16 years and has contributed significantly to the growth and culture of the business. In her most recent role as President, Boston Region, she held a dual role as National lead across all Account Management practices within Digitas: spanning 6 different offices. Additionally, she led the Boston region, steering growth, and culture for a team of over 500 employees based out of the Boston headquarters. Her teams are responsible for several large brands within the agency, including CVS Health, Inspire Brands, Crocs, and L Brands, among others. Under Melissa's guidance, Digitas’ Boston office was named the Largest Ad Agency in Massachusetts, Best and Brightest by NABR, NAFE's Top Workplaces for Women, and honored with a Rosoff Award for Diversity & Inclusion.
In the last two years, Digitas has seen significant growth; generating double digit growth for the agency in 2021 and 2022, which stems from both organic and net new opportunities. Melissa has played a pivotal role in expanding organic growth for the agency in recent years, and as chief customer officer she will accelerate momentum by helping existing clients remain a step ahead in the marketplace. She will be tasked with finding new revenue streams for clients, prioritizing their resources, and building new opportunities while delivering breakthrough work. Melissa will continue to report to Amy Lanzi, CEO, and collaborate on delivering exceptional networked experiences for clients.
“I am delighted to share the news of Melissa’s appointment – she is the exact right person to lead Digitas during an exciting time of growth and momentum. She is in extremely good company, as she continues to collaborate with our senior and experienced leadership team at Digitas, ready to build new solutions and lead breakthrough solutions for clients,” said Amy Lanzi, CEO of Digitas North America.
