Deutsch LA Elevates Five Senior Strategy Leaders

Reinforcing the agency’s dedication to cultivating talent from within, Deutsch LA announces the elevation of the following five powerhouse strategy executives:

Amanda Shapiro, EVP, group strategy director, continues to be a driving force at Deutsch LA and a leader in the department. She’s organically grown the Dr Pepper master brand with product extensions, while also helping legacy brands in the Keurig Dr Pepper portfolio, like Snapple, unlock conversations with gen z. Amanda’s foundational strategic visions for PetSmart, NerdWallet, and Credit One Bank demonstrates her skills in helping brands credibly connect to drive business success.

Samantha Petrossi, SVP group strategy director, with her knack for modern brand building, has lead the charge on launching Walmart+, continues to develop donation strategies for St. Jude, and strengthens Cedars-Sinai’s presence and involvement in LA. Her work on Walmart+ for Mother’s Day this year, successfully amassed over 120 million views on TikTok in just 24 hours.

Elizabeth Weinstein, VP connections strategy, going beyond integrated connections planning on all the client business she touches, she makes Deutsch's creative work more effective and its media work more contextual. Eliz’s work rallying full teams together on Adobe, Dr Pepper, and Taco Bell, have unlocked new and novel growth opportunities for the agency. With her leadership, Deutsch LA has mapped new team models with design, makers and social strategists working in lock step to power more than five of Adobe’s brands on social as their AOR.

Sara Singh, VP strategy director has worked with iconic and emerging brands like Taco Bell, Disney+, Google, Robinhood, and the Grammys. In her time at Deutsch LA she has received from Adweek, AdAge, and Business Insider, and Effies and Lions for her efforts in freeing the Taco Tuesday trademark.

Lauren Murphy, VP, social strategy director, builds award-winning online communities for Taco Bell and Adobe, leveraging her deep understanding of social media and gen z culture. She also runs the popular 'Internet Ghosts' newsletter. Her creativity shines in campaigns like the Taco Bell “Freeing Taco Tuesday” initiative and the Taco Bear delivery stunt.
