DesignStudio, the company responsible for most recently refreshing Twitter's online user experience, today announced three new hires that deepen the San Francisco office of the London-born company - Justin Rands as Design Technologist, Gabrielle Matte as a Designer, and Caroline Tomlinson as Project Manager.
Most recently a freelance designer, Rands has experience at various startups working on design, web development, UI/UX, as well as illustration and motion design. For startups such as VULCUN and Cloud4Wi, he was deeply involved in the companies’ branding and user interface design.
Matte was most recently a designer and illustrator at art and technology agencies Iregular and ValléeDuhamel. As art director and graphic designer, she was involved on projects for clients such as Les Inrockuptibles, National Film board of Canada, Quartier des spectacles, and Pépinière&Co.
Tomlinson comes to DesignStudio from Lippincott NY, where she served on the Experience Innovation team. She has extensive experience working with clients across all industries including retail, finance and healthcare. Previously, she worked as a Design Co-Op for Johnson & Johnson’s In-Store Strategy Group where she helped develop innovative solutions for their major brand and retail teams.
With these new hires, DesignStudio bolsters its US presence and further expands its global capabilities entering the new year. DesignStudio’s notable projects include rebrands of Airbnb, Premier League, and Deliveroo.
