We’ve waited four years, but the new season of one of the most successful shows in Netflix history is finally here.
To promote the 4th season of Stranger Things, Netflix partnered with By the Network to help the Upside Down world takeover the streets of New York and Los Angeles.
An impressive rift will open, destroying all billboards in its wake. From the Upside Down, a giant Demogorgon will try to claw its way into our world.
The experience can be seen in 3D digital out-of-home boards across major cities such as New York and Los Angeles.
Checha Agost Carreño, founder and CCO at Founders, who led the launch said: “If any creature deserved to make it to Times Square, it was the Demogorgon. We’re all fans of Stranger Things, so having the opportunity to work for this long-awaited season is a dream come true, or rather, a beautiful Upside Down nightmare come true.”
Felipe Rostagnol, creative director at Founders, added: "We hope that people on the street will be surprised by the billboards, and see them as a preview of how amazing this season will be. Being able to bring the Upside Down world to Times Square is almost as exciting as living in Hawkins for me."
