Death, Wolves & Argentina Combine in Aggressive's 'She Wolf'

East Coast-based live action and design studio Aggressive is already well-known for its commercial and music video work for the likes of Ford, Toyota, Michael Jackson, Pharell Williams, and Stone Temple Pilots, but the company’s creative duo, aka “visual samurai” recently directed their creative talents towards a far more personal project.

Grammy Award-winning founders Alex Topaller and Dan Shapiro co-wrote and co-directed “She Wolf,” a recently launched short narrative film about escaping commercial culture and rediscovering the natural world.

“She Wolf” tells the story of Ernesto, a trashy papparazo photographer tortured by the accidental death of Sofia, a Hollywood actress. Burnt out by his job and the culture it feeds, Ernesto attempts to escape his guilt in the rugged backcountry of Argentina, only to discover Sofia’s abiding spirit, reincarnated in the form of a wolf by day, a woman by night.
