Last month, De la Cruz Ogilvy, in partnership with Ogilvy Latina, hosted its DLC Trends talk - an event designed to inspire and empower clients and teams through an in-depth analysis of seven key trends shaping the year ahead. The analysis drew from various regional reports and was tailored to the realities of the Puerto Rican market.
This year, following four editions of the report, Santiago Bueno, director of strategy and innovation at De la Cruz Ogilvy, took the lead regionally in its development. He collaborated with teams from countries such as Argentina, Brazil, Peru, Panama, El Salvador, Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Colombia, and Puerto Rico - each contributing unique and relevant insights from their respective markets.
“We are navigating political and social realities in the region that affect how people connect with brands. This report is key to understanding those behavioural shifts in detail and provides practical recommendations to help develop strategies that resonate authentically with audiences,” said Santiago.
The talk was led by Paloma Tobón, innovation strategist at De la Cruz Ogilvy, who provided a comprehensive overview based on Puerto Rico’s trends. One standout insight was the importance of moving away from defining generations in absolute terms - today’s consumers don’t fit neatly into rigid labels. They are more complex, demanding, and full of nuance.
Previous editions of the talk have stood out for offering key insights that shape client projects - and this year was no exception. This event reaffirms De la Cruz Ogilvy’s commitment to delivering strategic, cutting-edge tools to meet the challenges of the advertising market in 2025.
“At De la Cruz Ogilvy, our commitment is to ensure that both our team and our business partners have access to the most up-to-date information for success. We focus on staying at the forefront of strategic thinking and positioning ourselves as subject matter experts,” said Carlos Thompson, president of De la Cruz Group.
