This year marks a historic milestone for both Puerto Rico and advertising agency De la Cruz Ogilvy: for the first time, three teams from the same agency will simultaneously participate in the Young Lions competition in Cannes. For the third consecutive year, De la Cruz Ogilvy will be sending young talent to compete in Young Lions representing the new wave of advertising talent emerging from the Island.
This achievement solidifies De la Cruz Ogilvy’s position as a leader in advertising creativity and showcases the exceptional talent of its team, which this year has expanded its presence in one of the industry’s most prestigious competitions within the Print, Digital, and Media categories.
The teams representing Puerto Rico in Cannes are:
Print category: José E. Morales García, copywriter, and Tanya De Jesús Rodríguez, copywriter
Digital category: Sergio Tirado Angleró, content producer, and Axel Santiago Rivera, content creator
Media category: Isabella Sandoval Villarreal, jr. graphic designer, and Nahiria Rivera Dieppa, digital connections coordinator
“It fills us with pride to see our team making history in Cannes. This achievement not only highlights the talent and dedication of our creatives but also puts Puerto Rico on the global advertising map,” said Carlos Thompson, president of DLC Group.
This is the first time a single agency has achieved full representation across all Young Lions categories, reaffirming De la Cruz Ogilvy’s commitment to creativity and innovation in advertising.
“This milestone reflects the talent, passion, and dedication of our young creatives and strengthens our commitment as an agency to innovation and creativity. We are confident this new generation of advertisers will leave their mark in Cannes.” said Sebastián Bullorini, creative director, De la Cruz Ogilvy.
With this historic participation, De la Cruz Ogilvy continues to break new ground and demonstrate that the creativity of our youth knows no bounds.
