DDB Sydney Bolsters Production Team with New Head of Integrated Content Renata Barbosa

DDB Sydney has strengthened its production team with the hire of Renata Barbosa as head of integrated content.

Barbosa has more than 20 years’ experience in the industry working at advertising agencies, including McCann, JWT, and Leo Burnett. Most recently, she headed up production across Saatchi & Saatchi’s Sydney and Melbourne offices.

In her new role, she will lead production for DDB Sydney, bringing her expertise in large-scale TV and creating agile solutions to clients including Westpac, McDonald’s, Foxtel, Virgin Australia, Volkswagen and more.

Says Priya Patel, managing director, DDB Sydney: “I knew within five minutes of meeting Renata that she was the right woman for the job. She’s experienced at dealing with blue-chip clients and managing big teams to offer fully integrated creative solutions.

“She understands how to make creative solutions a reality and we know she’s the right person to futureproof our business. Most importantly, she’s a lovely human-being – the perfect blend of talented and nice.”

Says Barbosa: “With one of the largest production departments in Australia, I am thrilled to join the team at DDB Sydney. With so many exciting projects on the horizon, I’m looking forward to working with the team to keep producing ground-breaking work.”
