DDB Group Aotearoa and Vodafone, soon to be One NZ, have launched ‘One Awesome Summer’ - the campaign to catapult us into a long-awaited summer season.
This campaign teases what lies ahead over the warmer months and nods towards the telco’s move to One NZ - painting a picture of an electric welcome to summer.
Matty Burton, group chief creative officer at DDB Group says the campaign lends itself to the unrestrained and carefree way in which Kiwi’s will experience summer this year after a few tricky years being locked down.
“This is the first summer in quite a while where everything is open, we can move about freely and we have no restrictions. Just like a crowd clamouring for one more song, we wanted the campaign to translate into that excitement - hyping up an awesome summer to remember”
“The campaign alludes to both the big and small moments that make up an unforgettable summer. From one huge roadie or one epic night, it’s all about a season that is one for the gram, one for the crew and ultimately, one for the ages.”
