Elliott joins DAC from Klick Healthcare and has held senior finance roles at major agencies

DAC, a leading international media agency, is pleased to announce the appointment of Rob Elliott as the company’s new chief financial officer (CFO). With over 20 years of experience as a CFO in both public and private companies across the advertising and media industry, Elliott brings a wealth of expertise in financial operations and strategic growth.

Rob joins DAC from Klick Healthcare and has held senior finance roles at major agencies including TBWA, Agency.com, J. Walter Thompson, and Match Marketing. His extensive background in managing financial strategies and operations across Canada and the U.S. positions him well to support DAC’s continued growth.

“We are thrilled to welcome Rob to DAC’s executive team,” said Norm Hagarty, CEO of DAC. “His depth of experience and operational insight within the advertising industry will be invaluable as we continue to strengthen our business and expand our financial capabilities.”

In his new role, Rob will initially focus on supporting DAC’s transition to Workday, the agency’s new ERP system, scheduled to go live in January. He is committed to leading DAC’s finance team in streamlining processes through automation, creating more time to focus on strategic priorities. “I’m looking forward to engaging with DAC’s entrepreneurial spirit and helping the team to accelerate our growth and operational efficiency,” he said.

Rob’s leadership style is collaborative and hands-on, focusing on fostering close partnerships between the finance team and the rest of the business to enhance efficiencies across the organization. His strategic priorities include working with DAC’s technology teams to ensure smart investments in emerging tools like AI, positioning DAC to maximize its competitive edge.

After years in both public and private company roles, Rob values the unique flexibility that DAC’s privately held structure provides. “As a private company, DAC has the independence to make long-term investments that align with our vision, without being beholden to quarterly market pressures,” he explained.
