The talent hoarding continues at Broken Heart Love Affair with the addition of the creative team Marty Hoefkes and Michael Morelli.
Globally recognised for their work with the Canadian Down Syndrome Society, TD Bank and Ikea, Marty and Mike come from FCB where they also led creative for Air Canada, OLG, Lotto Max, BMO, and Hershey Twizzlers. The duo has been awarded at Cannes, the One Show, D&AD, Clios, and many other local and international shows.
“We have been huge admirers of Mike and Marty for years now. Not only are they super creatively talented but we have only heard amazing things about them as people. Let’s just say editors know all in this business and editors are huge fans of this incredible duo”, says Denise Rossetto, partner and CCO.
“We think BHLA has really hit its stride with work that's surprising and different,” says Mike Morelli. “Those have always been the kinds of ads we like making, so it felt like a perfect fit.”
“We actually came close to signing with Carlos and Peter at BBDO like a decade ago, and since then it's been a bit of a 'will they? won't they?' for us and Carlos,” adds Marty Hoefkes. "Very Rachel and Ross. But now at BHLA there's also a Joey, Monica, Phoebe, and Chandler. Even a Gunther! I won't say who's who, but just that they're all very talented and we're excited to be there.”
At Broken Heart Love Affair, the team will work with a variety of clients including World Vision, ROM and Lactalis.
