Wonderhatch, an integrated creative agency working at the intersection between strategy, creativity and production, has appointed Nimo Awil as its first head of creative. This move comes as part of a wider evolution for Wonderhatch who work with clients such as Caffe Nero, Huel and 888.
An experienced leader who has been named one of PITCH Magazine’s '100 Superwomen,' BIMA100’s 'Most Influential People in Digital,' and Campaign’s 'Faces to Watch', Nimo brings 15 years of creative experience to the Wonderhatch team.
This appointment follows last year’s appointment of Jed Price as head of strategy, who has brought his experience with brands such as Odeon and PepsiCo to expand the agency’s offering.
In her new role, Nimo will be responsible for developing Wonderhatch’s creative vision. As the agency delivers a wider range of services to both established and new clients, Nimo’s role will be critical in delivering outstanding work that excites clients and their audiences alike.
With a career spanning two continents, Nimo’s experience at global agencies like Ogilvy, POKE (now Publicis London), and Monks—shaping work for brands such as American Express, Google, Dove, and Mondelez—will elevate Wonderhatch’s creative output through strategic storytelling and bold, curiosity-driven ideas.
Her passion for nurturing new talent in collaboration with prestigious programs and awards such as Cannes Lions’ ‘See It Be It’ and D&AD’s New Blood Shift, will allow her to recognise and develop fresh talent as the agency continues to grow.
Nimo Awil, head of creative of Wonderhatch said, “I’m thrilled to be joining the brilliant team at Wonderhatch as Head of Creative, at a time when the agency is thoughtfully evolving its approach with a real focus on inclusivity, curiosity, collaboration—and yes, a sense of wonder. I can’t wait to see what we create together.”
Marc Webbon, CEO and co-founder of Wonderhatch said, “Nimo is a rare creative talent, possessing both the instinct and the drive to take Wonderhatch’s work to the next level. We are excited for ourselves of course, but are particularly excited for our clients. This hire underlines our commitment to and belief in the power of creative.”
Discussing the agency’s new mission, CEO and co-founder Marc Webbon added, “Wonderhatch has developed significantly over the last few years, from our early beginnings as a production company.
We have been fortunate to work with some amazing brands who have encouraged our growth, and have led us to embrace and develop strong strategic and creative practices alongside our premium production service.”
