Covent Garden Brightens the Forecast with th1ng's ITV London Weather Idents

Covent Garden Soup Co. has enlisted the help of th1ng and Havas London to spread the word about their fresh, delicious soups right as the temperatures are beginning to plummet. Because Covent Garden knows the weather grows the local crops that make their seasonal soups, they tapped th1ng to create three brief idents for the ITV London Weekday Weather program.

Using a mixed media technique to create the look, the spots contrast the steamy bowls of vibrantly colored soup with the cold dreary weather outdoors and declare that “the seasons make our soups” with playful pea, parsnip, and tomato precipitation. Highlighting their locally grown vegetables, these idents focus on farm freshness and the importance the weather plays in bringing their soups to the table.
