Toronto-based creative agency Courage continues its trajectory of high speed growth by naming award-winning executive producer Clair Galea as its executive producer.
Clair joins the team in an official capacity after collaborating previously as a freelancer, navigating internationally recognized productions for major clients like Nescafe and CIBC. A Cannes Lions winner, she maintains deep roots in advertising having held long term production roles over the years at Publicis Toronto, JWT, BBDO and Rethink.
Additionally, Clair is a veteran commercial voice actress with credits that span across countless brands including the Sochi Olympics, the Pan Am Games, and the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, for which she’s served as the National voice for the past 12 years.
Said Clair in a statement: “I was at the point in my career where I only wanted to be producing the very best work coming out of our market. Niki, Dhaval and Joel hired me as a freelancer to produce their first campaign at Courage, and there is a tremendous amount of mutual respect between all of us. Working together is genuinely a pleasure and I'm honoured to be part of the Courage team. Looking forward to all that's to come.”
Clair is the latest in a steady lineup of major hires under the Courage banner. Between its leadership and creative rosters, the independent shop has grown by over 40 employees in just under a year.
“In the many years that we’ve worked with Clair, she’s one of those producers that just has a way of finding a way,” said founder and CCO Dhaval Bhatt. “Combine that ‘never say never’ attitude with the fact that she’s one of the most respected and beloved producers in the industry, well, we feel very fortunate to have her as part of our leadership team at Courage.”
