CORD has announced the addition of Seb Whyte to the music supervision team.
For Seb, music has been a passion for as long as he can remember. Whilst studying English Literature at Glasgow University, Seb became a part of the broad and diverse music scene there. He became involved with Subcity Radio, where he was taught how to DJ and coordinate events by others at the station. He hosted his own radio show 'Tender Whispers' that focused upon the smooth and seductive side of soul, funk and hip-hop. This inspired him to put on a variety of Hip-Hop events in the form of club nights named 'Half Cut' and live shows targeting emerging talent from Glasgow, Brighton, and Bristol. Seb merged his passion for music with his studies in his final dissertation upon how hip-hop lyricism should be considered the new poetry of the 21st century.
At CORD Seb will be working closely with Dominic Goodman (ECD) and David Marcus (MD) to support the supervision and strategy teams and to gain a broad insight into all aspects of CORD's offering.
Commenting on his new position, Seb says: "It's an absolute pleasure to be able to return to London and rejoin CORD, who has supported and guided me over the course of two summers and made my long desired career path a reality!"
