Contented Group Appoints BAFTA-Nominated Lèmarl Freckleton as First Rostered Director

London-based creative content agency Contented has appointed its first rostered director, BAFTA-award nominated Lèmarl Freckleton ,as part of its commitment to create a world-class content production offering.

Following a strong year of growth for Contented, which is part of global independent marketing agency group The Miroma Group, and the delivery of exceptional and effective campaigns for brands such as The English & Welsh Cricket Board, BUPA, Gumtree, Linkedin, and the NBA2K League, this appointment signals a new phase of increased investment by the agency into its creative and production talent as it looks to maintain its growth trajectory into 2023.

Lèmarl has already delivered impressive work for the Contented Group, directing a vast array of content, including for The Hundred that saw the event sell out in 24 hours and its socials growing from zero to 154,000 followers and generating 34.3 million views.  He also brings previous experience working with brands including New Balance, The North Face  and Burberry.

A man of many talents, Lèmarl has most recently been nominated for the ‘Breakthrough’ award at the BAFTA Cymru awards for his TV series about Welsh language music of black origin, which explored how to make the language more accessible. 

His recent success follows on from his work directing music videos for household names like Anne-Marie to up-and-coming artists like Clyde Mercury and Infamous Isaac, and for his own music (under the name L E M F R E C K) for which he was nominated for a Welsh music prize. His tracks have been featured on BBC Radio One and the Maida Vale sessions. He brings his musical and directorial talent and experience to Contented, creating fresh content with a unique perspective.
