Pegard has worked alongside greats like Michel Gondry and Bjork- influences that have imbued her work with a penchant for all things eccentric in both performance and aesthetic sensibilities, playful in-camera techniques and an unconventional sense of humour.

Pegard is drawn to the interplay between form and content in exuberant fashion, narrative, music video and commercial work. She mixes surrealism, irreverence, nostalgia and anachronistic imagery – always with a focus on performance, choreography and seamless CG integration.

She has directed commercials for global brand campaigns such as Ikea, H&M, Lidl and Roberts, and music videos for the likes of The Midnight Juggernauts, M. Ward, Grizzly Bear, and Parcels.

Her unique style and work has garnered a wide variety of awards, nominations, and recognition in publications including the Gestalten’s Papercraft series, Vogue, Rolling Stone, the ABC Triple J Awards, the British Film Institute BUG London Festival, Berlin MVAs, Ciclope, and 1.4.

Says Rachael Ford-Davies, managing partner and EP at Collider: “We have been following Beatrice throughout her career and have long thought she would be an incredible creative force at Collider. We love her stunning European style, both in aesthetic and humour and we are excited to add her to our roster, especially as we build comedy direction into our visual storytelling offering.”

Says Pegard: “I am thrilled to join Collider’s inspiring and awesome roster and to work with an amazing powerhouse team of multidisciplinary creatives who keep pushing the boundaries and thinking outside the box. I can’t wait to shoot weird and wonderful projects with them.”
