Mini series from Wieden+Kennedy NY and Honor Society gives educators at George Washington Preparatory Senior High, California a surprise

Coffee mate is going above and beyond to show its love for coffee and the people who need it most – beloved teachers. In a new three-episode miniseries produced by Wieden+Kennedy NY, 'Unbreak My Breakroom,' Coffee mate and CA-based rapper and Abbott Elementary actor Vince Staples, give the hardworking educators at George Washington Preparatory Senior High in Inglewood, CA, an extraordinary breakroom makeover (including a hidden coffee sipping room for much-needed tranquillity). 

The breakroom overhaul features Coffee mate creamer and Iced Coffee on tap, a Coffee mate Iced Coffee water fountain, NESCAFÉ coffee machines that dispense a variety of coffee options, plus a year's supply of Coffee mate creamers to keep the coffee flowing.

“Unbreak My Breakroom" is an opportunity for Coffee mate to celebrate the brand’s new brand platform, 'For The Love Of Coffee', and their over-the-top coffee fanaticism in the best way possible: by spreading coffee love and providing other people with the best coffee break. We chose teachers specifically, because their jobs require a lot of energy and dedication; they are true everyday heroes. So, we wanted to award them with a breakroom that reflects all of their efforts, but still make it fun and playful just like Coffee mate.” said, Joaquin Salim and Mariana Oliveria, creative directors, WKNY.

“Teachers work tirelessly to build our future. They deserve our recognition, appreciation, and good fun and coffee to fuel them. And because everything we do is for the love of coffee, we're letting our creativity run wild and giving a select school the most over-the-top breakroom makeover. We filmed the whole reno to bring everyone along for the ride through our first ever mini-series, Unbreak my Breakroom.” said Leonardo Aizpuru, vice president of brand marketing for the beverage division and business unit at Nestlé.

This campaign will be supported by native and video-first social content, hosted on Coffee mate’s YouTube Channel and TikTok, where fans can follow along for the over-the-top breakroom reno.
