The Johnny Foreigner rostered comedy director Michael Sugarman has carved out a niche for himself in bone-dry, deadpan territory. His latest work is for Coco Pops, reintroducing iconic coco the monkey with a refreshed look, in a cross-Europe campaign. The campaign launches with three directors cuts, demonstrating the joys of Coco Pops for both adults and children.
Director Michael Sugarman said of his work, "I enjoy quick scenarios like these, where you're telling a story almost entirely through a brisk sequence of facial reactions. I was a cartoonist before I started making films, and for me this type of work is the film version of the classic three-panel cartoon."
