Chemistry’s ears will still be ringing from this year’s ICADs. They picked up an impressive 10 bells at the awards. While across town, their Lidl Christmas campaign won Best Advertising Campaign at the All Ireland Marketing Awards.
Their ‘Get Cancer’ campaign for the Irish Cancer Society won four silver bells (Earned Media, Print, Print Campaign and Creative for Change) and one bronze (Print). The campaign kick-started a national conversation about Cancer.
Three different pieces of work for the Irish Examiner were also awarded. The ‘Chernobyl’ and ‘Trump’ print ads picked up a silver and bronze respectively. They also grabbed another bronze for their ‘Whistleblower’ radio ad highlighting the tireless work of journalist Michael Clifford on the Maurice McCabe story.
Chemistry’s work for the Advertising Benevolent Society (TABS) won a bronze in the print category. TABS was set up more than 60 years ago to help advertising people and their families who have fallen on hard times.
Finally, their Lidl ‘Homecoming’ took home a bronze in the craft category for cinematography.
A Chemistry spokesperson comments, “A big thanks to all our clients and creative partners for helping us achieve this haul and a hearty congrats to all the other winners.”
