Charlotte Flood, Steph Graham, and Mikhaila Warburton have founded no sunday blues, a recruitment firm they say will ditch "the corporate stuffiness" to connect agencies with talent across creative, design, PR, communications, account services, social media, and marketing.
The trio were previously colleagues at recruitment agency Creative Natives, and came up with the name because "life's too short for mediocre Mondays". Mikhaila said, "no sunday blues is our way of doing recruitment."
Mikhaila was at Creative Natives for a year and a half, while Steph was there for almost four years, and Charlotte two and a half. All three have extensive experience across various recruitment agencies including Redpath, Aquent, Phillip Riley, Chandler Macleod, and Locher. Steph also has a background in PR.
“We’ve worked with some of Australia’s biggest names, but what we loved most wasn’t just delivering results—it was building real, honest connections that solved challenges and helping people love what they do,” said Charlotte.
Steph added, “We love this industry, we can’t wait to make it even better."
The offering includes quarterly talent and market insight reports, monthly portfolio sessions for candidates, a talent attraction and retention program. It also commits to provide salary transparency from the outset, and has launched a newsletter.
On the no sunday blues website, the trio added, "We’re not just recruiters—we’re the ones who get it. We become part of your team, solve your headaches, and make you wonder how you ever managed without us."
