Channel 4 Strengthens US Election Coverage with Confirmation of New Stars and Political Giants

Channel 4 has bolstered its offering for the 2024 US Presidential election taking place on November 5th, today announcing a range of new high-profile guests that will join its first overnight programme for a US election since 1992.

Political heavyweights from the UK and USA will be joining the programme. Having earlier this month confirmed that former UK and Australian Prime Ministers Boris Johnson and Malcolm Turnbull would offer their insights from Channel 4’s studio in Washington DC, former UK government ministers Michael Gove and David Miliband are both now confirmed to be joining alongside. Democrat Carol Moseley Braun, the first ever African American woman elected to the US Senate and Republicans John Bolton and Sean Spicer, Donald Trump’s former National Security Adviser and White House Press Secretary respectively, will provide their expert analysis on the night.

Joining the exclusive line-up of guests that includes Stormy Daniels and Brian Cox, the broadcaster’s star-studded lineup is now also confirmed to feature the artist Grayson Perry and singer-songwriter Rufus Wainwright.

America Decides: US Election Results will air on Channel 4 from 10pm on Tuesday 5th November. Presented by Krishnan Guru-Murthy, Matt Frei, Emily Maitlis and Jeremy Vine, the programme’s partnership with CNN and range of guests ensures that it will be the definitive way to watch the US election in the UK.
