The Golden Award of Montreux welcomes submissions from agencies, advertisers, and production companies worldwide, offering a platform for both national and international campaigns. Eligible entries include all advertising and marketing communications implemented since January 1st, 2023.
Last year, a total of 42 Gold Medals were awarded across eight main categories: Media, Digital, Print, Outdoor, Film, Event, and Corporate Film. The Ad of the Year 2023 Award was presented to BETC for their Canal+ commercial, 'The Secret of Wakany'.
Since its inception in 1989, The Golden Award of Montreux has been seen as a pioneering international competition, celebrating excellence in advertising, media, digital, and events. In an industry where accolades hold significant value, the Golden Award of Montreux stands out as a prestigious accolade, honoring exceptional work produced over the preceding 12 months.

Alongside the Golden Award of Montreux, the Montreux Talent Award category provides a distinguished platform for students and young professionals worldwide, showcasing innovative projects in advertising, e-content, and design. Launched in collaboration with Swiss Media, this category spotlights emerging talents on the global stage, offering winners invaluable exposure to leading international experts.
Winners receive promotion through international press releases and publicity campaigns, with their work featured prominently on the website and adforum, the advertising industry's go-to platform.
The esteemed 2024 jury comprises high-profile professionals from 24 countries, ensuring the competition's rigorous evaluation and maintaining its esteemed reputation.
Notable jury chairs include Frank Bodin, longtime president of Art Director Club Switzerland; Symonne Torpy, head of Cross-Channel Conception at BETC Etoile Rouge; Joseph Dubruque, associate creative director at McCANN Paris; Jeannette Liendo, senior vice president of marketing and communications at Siemens Healthineers; Adam Kerj, chief creative officer at Accenture Interactive Nordics; and Mayara Schmidt, senior art director at McCann Worldgroup New York.
