Grey London’s New Business & Marketing Director, Catherine Davis has been promoted to Chief Marketing Officer.
In addition to her existing role heading up the new business and marketing team at Grey London, Davis will now be responsible for marketing all of the agency’s integrated business units GreyPOSSIBLE (digital), Dialogue (shopper marketing), The Social Partners (social media/word of mouth) and GreyWorks (production).
Since Davis joined Grey in 2009, the agency has won more than 45 new accounts. During this time, she has also been responsible for new business and marketing for Grey EMEA, which last week was named Euro Effies Agency Network of the Year for the second year running.
Chris Hirst, CEO, Grey London said: “Catherine has contributed significantly to our new business success over the past four years. We want her to bring the same success to the rest of 77 Hatton Garden.”
Davis added: "Grey has changed dramatically in the four years I've been here and I'm proud to have been part of the journey. I am looking forward to working with the heads of our four business units to extend our growth across the business as whole, not just the core advertising agency. We’ve already seen growth in these areas but there is huge potential for more.”
Davis began her career in account management at TBWA. Following a five year stint in Singapore at Batey Ads heading the Singapore Airlines global advertising account, she returned to London – working at Leo Burnett, RKCR/Y&R & Burkitt DDB. Following a brief stint client-side, she joined Grey as New Business & Marketing Director in March 2009.
