Director João Retorta shoots raw & real promo for Jones' new track 'Housework'

Bullion Brings the Bass for Gritty New Jax Jones Music Video

Bullion's João Retorta directs this grittily honest video for Jax Jones’ (ft MNEK & Mike Dunn) new track 'Housework.'

Director João Retorta commented: "My main aim was to create an exciting piece that goes behind the standard live performance video. I wanted to create something authentic, but at the same time sort of lives in a limbo between an ob-doc and a live performance, topped with some visual and editing elements of a music video. Shooting it on 16mm, apart from the obvious stylistic choice, also added to the realness and rawness of the piece. I was interested in the parallel of audio being recorded on location, in a few takes and the film being shot with a limited amount of stock."
