BUCK, a leading global design company, has announced a merger with London-based creative agency Anyways. The merger is an organic next step for the two companies as they continue to create impactful work for their clients.
About The Merge
Originally born from It’s Nice That—an acclaimed editorial platform—Anyways brings a global network of talent and a uniquely playful approach to creativity. Over the past decade, the agency has delivered compelling campaigns for leading brands such as Hinge, Levi’s, and Sonos.
As companies in Residence, Anyways and BUCK had a history of collaboration, partnering across award-winning projects including the rebrand of Adobe MAX—the world’s largest creativity conference—and more recently an animated in-product design system for YouTube, acting as their strategic creative partner.
By merging with BUCK, Anyways combines its global network and innovative approach with BUCK’s deep expertise in design and storytelling across multiple mediums. This fusion creates a powerhouse of creative talent, leveraging the strengths of both companies for even greater impact.
Impact of the Merger
Together, BUCK and Anyways will provide brands with more impactful creative solutions by combining Anyways’ playful, idea-driven approach with BUCK’s expertise in craft and design.
To strengthen this integration, BUCK is forming a new creative department, led by Ellen Turnill Montoya as head of creative, to drive fresh thinking and their combined capabilities. It will unlock opportunities in campaign development, branding, and ideation—but also expand BUCK’s global presence, strengthening its impact across Europe and beyond.
The Anyways team will join BUCK’s European group as BUCK employees, growing their presence in London and strengthening collaboration with their Amsterdam studio. As part of this transition, the Anyways brand will be phased out, bringing all creative efforts under one unified BUCK identity.
“Anyways brought something truly unique to the space, and this merger integrates their talent and skill into BUCK—strengthening our ideation and campaign offerings. Our newly established creative department will collaborate closely with our incredible craft and production artists, allowing us to push boundaries further than ever before. BUCK is evolving, and this is a big step in that journey.” said Vincent Lammers, executive creative director, BUCK.
“We’re excited to welcome the Anyways team to BUCK. By bringing the Anyways team under the BUCK umbrella we’re able to enhance our creative capabilities. We’re more strongly positioned for new opportunities in the UK and Europe and our clients will benefit from a talented team ready to deliver exceptional creative solutions.” said Emily Rickard, chief executive officer, BUCK.
