Voyager director Brent Foster unveils his most ambitious collaboration with The Center for Addiction and Mental Health to date in 'No One Left Behind.' This piece debuts alongside CAMH’s efforts to raise a record-shattering $500M in support of hospital-based mental health research as they build the state-of-the-art CAMH Research & Discovery Centre.
While the project builds quite literally in the form of a human tower, Brent also wanted it build emotionally. “I did a lot of reflecting on the pandemic, and the feeling of reconnecting as a community. It’s not instant. There’s hesitancy.” Brent decided to tell the story of progression through performance and a dramatic change in the sky. “Director of Photography Kris Bonnell and I spent a ton of time in pre-production carefully planning out the skyline and a sun that would eventually break through and then settle in the beautiful evening light.”
This was Brent’s third campaign for CAMH in as many years, following a successful run of previous work for their 'Not Suicide. Not Today' campaign which raised more than $120 million for the organisation.
