Brand & Deliver has won the coveted ‘Agency of the Year’ award at the sixth annual CIM Marketing Excellence Awards, following an outstanding twelve months for the Shoreditch-based creative marketing agency. It also took home the Partner Marketing Award for bringing together Sony’s The Amazing Spider-Man 2 and Evian (Danone Waters) in the biggest film partnership ever seen.
During 2013-14 B&D created some of its most innovative campaigns to date, creating an entirely new sub-brand for the Playboy empire with its Bunny Bootcamp initiative and successfully engaging 38,000 concert goers in the experiential activation of Samsung’s European sponsorship of Robbie William’s stadium tour. The agency also launched a licensing department, instantly winning licensing business from Warner Bros, Fox Consumer Products, Hasbro and HIT Entertainment.
This success was reflected in turnover, which increased by 163% from £4.3m to £11.3m in the twelve-month period.
Ben Gallop, CEO of Brand & Deliver, said: “We’ve created brand new global IP for one of the most recognised brands in the world, quadrupled industry-standard redemption rates and devised the biggest film partnership in history. All created by happier, more loyal and committed staff and an incredibly healthy upwards curve on the bottom line. We’ve had an amazing year and this is the ultimate recognition for every B&D-er who has helped revolutionise this agency over the last year.”
The annual CIM Marketing Excellence Awards ceremony, which took place at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel on Monday 27th April, celebrates UK marketing excellence, innovation and best practice.
