Integrated marketing agency Brand & deliver has produced a 10 and 30 second TV commercial starring a black panther to promote LG’s new OLED 4K TV, based on the concept “Perfect Black creates Perfect Colour”.
Broadcasting in the UK and Ireland on ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5 and Sky from 21st May, the TV commercial will feature during flagship shows such as Coronation Street and Game of Thrones and on the LG Piccadilly screen. A print campaign will run in upmarket glossy magazines, supported online by takeovers of the Telegraph and Huffington Post websites and banner adverts across multiple tech and lifestyle sites. Four short films have also been produced for seeding on YouTube.
In their third commercial for LG, Brand & Deliver directed the panther section of the shoot at Amazing Animals zoo in Chipping Norton, before producing the final commercial and creating all the digital and print elements.
LG’s next generation OLED 4K TV is transforming the TV experience, fusing OLED technology with 4K resolution. Self-lighting pixels switch on and off individually, delivering the purest blacks, most brilliant colours and clearest images. LG’s Head of Consumer Marketing & Retail Carolyn Anderson, said, “OLED technology already offers viewers the most vibrant picture possible, but when combined with 4K, we reach a new level of definition and sharpness. This TV will redefine the luxury home entertainment market.”
