Bolder Creative, the Brighton based creative agency. has designed a dynamic and thrilling title sequence and TV promo for Star India.
The new promo was devised to promote Star India’s coverage of the ICC T20 Cricket World Cup. The channel is streaming all the games, so required a title sequence, which would reflect the enormity and excitement of the sporting event. The viewership of the tournament is in excess of 100 million people.
Bolder Creative won the contract to create the main title sequence and all the other in-programme assets and graphics.
The thrilling sequence presents the teams arriving at the event as comets hitting the earth from all corners of the globe. The hero players evolve from the organic generarative particles, which make up the comets. Three key players from the World Cup; Chris Gayle, Lasith Malinga and MS Dhoni were clad in sci-fi organic mecha suits of armour, which ‘power up’ before releasing their energy.
The sequence showcases key action shots set within a futuristic stadium. Finally the combined electrifying images and bespoke music evolve into the custom made logo.
