Bolder have partnered with Ralph Lauren’s Innovation Creative team to create a prominent outdoor 3D installation on London's Piccadilly Circus to promote Ralph Lauren’s Polo Shirt book, celebrating a 50 year+ history of this chic casual shirt, an American cultural symbol worn by everyone from film stars and presidents to athletes and artists.
Part of a worldwide campaign, this 3D perspective animation unveils the book and takes us through various scenes celebrating the iconic Polo shirt. From the classic white to the weathered Polo, from the striped Polo to the US Olympic, US Open and Wimbledon Championship collaborations, the catalogue celebrates the full spectrum of the Polo, making it a collector's dream.
Bolder were inspired by the book design itself with its collage themes and used false perspectives to create the 3D feel, playing with scale and attributes of the various polo shirt designs in a futuristic way.
Working closely with Yong Choe, VP of digital design and innovation and drawing inspiration from the book design with its collage themes, Bolder used false perspectives to create the 3D feel, playing with scale and attributes of the various polo shirt designs in a futuristic way.
Dave Farquharson, Creative Director at Bolder says: “We love working with Yong, and this project gave us a unique opportunity to present our work at great scale in an iconic location. It also ties in to other campaign themes Bolder are working on which reflect their innovative approach across a number of areas of the business”
