Commercial, film and music video director Bo Mirosseni has joined the eclectic roster at Burning Reel. Check out his reel here.
Bo is part of the Californian dream of a new generation of directors who provide a brief and welcome escape from the daily grind with their 5 - 10-minute long surreal and quirky stories.
After a childhood in Long Beach as part of the local skater scene, Bo first started to capture his friends’ skills and tricks with his camera.
Gaining hands-on experience whilst interning at MTV in New York, he directed a commercial for Virgin Mobile, nominated at the Cannes Young Director Showcase.
The buzz helped him garner some serious attention and since then Bo has had his work in numerous festivals all over the world along with receiving Vimeo Staff Picks, and being featured on Huffington Post, Slate, Salon and other notable blogs.
Bo's music video for Disclosure, “When a Fire Starts to Burn”, made it to the top 10 best music videos of 2014 on Rolling Stone, Buzzfeed, Huffington Post, Stereogum, IMVDB and Video Static.
Bo recently wrapped up two films for Mercedes-Benz abd Ray-Ban, along with a campaign for Samsung and is working on finishing two scripts for a feature film one of which is being packaged at CAA.
