Founder and CEO joins MEA jury for this year's competition
BIG KAHUNA FILMS’ Eddy Rizk has been announced as a juror at this year's Immortal Awards, joining the MEA jury.

Eddy is the founder and chief executive officer of BIG KAHUNA FILMS, one of the leading creative production houses in the Middle East. Amongst the many awards won from the major advertising festivals around the world, BIG KAHUNA FILMS was awarded Production House of the Year in 2019 at the Dubai Lynx, and Best Production House in 2020 B&W report.

Launched in 2007, with offices in Dubai, Riyadh and Beirut, BIG KAHUNA FILMS played an important role in developing the film industry in the Middle East and attracting foreign talents, along with productions. The company was also at the forefront in promoting creativity from the region, as well as hosting events at advertising festivals in the aim to always bring the industry together.

Throughout the years, Eddy contributed to empowering and nurturing young talents. Almost a decade ago, he launched the Young Directors Competition where talents from the MENA region were able to contest.

Born in Lebanon and spending most of his time in Dubai or around the world filming, Eddy began his career working in every single production department that led him to work as a producer and executive producer for a couple of years, until he launched his own company.

Alongside the commercial work the company produces, Eddy has a huge interest in awareness projects as well as sociopolitical topics related to his native country, Lebanon.
