Book written by renowned street artist Karim Boukercha launches

BETC, in collaboration with publisher Dominique Carré, is releasing General Graffiti, a book that examines 40 years of street art, a socio-artistic movement that transformed Paris and its suburbs. Written by renowned street artist Karim Boukercha, the work is brought to life with photographs by Yves Marchand and Romain Meffre who gained fame with their series of photos of a run-down Detroit.

The book highlights the Magasins Généraux building in Pantin, which, over the years became a haven for street artists and which, in 2016, will become the future home of BETC. Last year the agency launched graffitigeneral.com, a 3D website that allows users to explore the building and digitally create their own tags. Today, as the building is being renovated for its future offices, BETC is working to preserve the works and now, with General Graffiti, this art will be forever memorialized.

The book is now available to purchase from Amazon.
