BETC London Announces Russell Davies as New Chief Strategy Officer

BETC London has announced the appointment of leading strategist and writer Russell Davies as Chief Strategy Officer. He will be part of BETC London’s management team, working alongside Executive Creative Director Rosie Bardales and a soon to be appointed Managing Director.

Davies joins the agency from an interim role as CEO of digital charity Doteveryone. He brings twenty-five years of experience working for companies like Nike, Apple, Microsoft, Honda, W+K and R\GA, and is the only person to have won both an APG Creative Planning Award Gold and a D&AD Black Pencil.

Davies will work with BETC London brand partners, which include Cow & Gate, GANT, Air France and the newly added Coty account, as well as contributing to the BETC network.

2015 saw the BETC network grow to almost 1000 people and an increase in organic revenue of 8%. 2016 is bringing further talent and business growth for the three offices, with leading global brands such as Peugeot, evian, Canal+, Lacoste and Air France.

September saw the inauguration of BETC’s new headquarters Les Magasins généraux - a 20,000m² former flour and grain warehouse - situated in Greater Paris. The building presents a diverse cultural ecosystem, housing BETC Paris’ 900 staff, creative partners and a dedicated creative space open to the public. The move to Les Magasins généraux heralds a new era of international creative growth, production and innovation for the BETC network and for Greater Paris.

Russell Davies will join BETC London in January 2017.
