The Berlin Music Video Awards is set to return its fourth year. 4500 visitors descended on the three-day festival in 2015, which saw a production-focused jury nominate 130 pieces of work.
2016 is hotting up to be even better than last year. Berlin MVAs has been releasing teaser videos of currently nominated work, featuring the likes of Naughty Boy and Beyoncé’s Runnin’, directed by Charlie Robins, and Tame Impala’s The Less I Know The Better, directed by CANADA. (Check out some nominee teaser videos at the bottom of this story.)
Entries are still open until 1st April.

Originally started as festival for local musicians and filmmakers, the Berlin MVAs now attract as many foreign guests as it does locals - a fact that’s fitting of Berlin as a city itself.
The festival offers directors and filmmakers of all experiences and types the opportunity to present their work to the public and get recognition. Popularity and budget does not matter and, as such, young, up-and-coming directors can often come up against Hollywood names during the awards.
