The One Show is complete and the coveted Gold Pencils have been handed out to the very best creatives in advertising.
Perhaps just as prestigious as the awards themselves, Creative Week is renowned for championing young diverse talent every year through events like The Young Ones, Client Pitch Competition and the ever-popular Portfolio Review.
However, you don’t have to be in New York to experience the talent on show at this year’s Creative Week. The One Club takes us behind the scenes of The Young Ones, the One Show’s festival for young creatives and emerging talent.
Kicking off this years’ festival the Portfolio Reviews gave the young creatives in attendance the opportunity to learn from top professionals from across the world, as well as gain invaluable tips and feedback on their portfolio.
At the heart of the One Show remains a serious commitment to supporting creativity and celebrating the very best of advertising. Alongside the educational aspects there was also an exclusive chance for students to prove their competitive prowess against the professionals in the ‘King Kong of Ping Pong’ challenge. Students from different colleges and portfolio schools gave leading creatives a run for their money in a neck and neck ping pong tournament. What better way to learn and network than a bit of friendly competition?
