Ocean plastic pollution has reached a tipping point and time is running out. By 2050 there will be more plastic in our oceans than fish.
Urgency is key. This is certainly conveyed in ‘Run For The Oceans’, Bullion’s new social campaign for adidas Running.
Run For The Oceans ’19 is a global adidas-led initiative, where for every 1km run on June 8th, adidas will donate $1 towards Parley Ocean School, an organisation that raises awareness and arms the next generation with the knowledge and tools to stop marine plastic pollution.
Directed by James Willis, this social and PR-driven activation film aims at starting the conversation in culture. Through playfully pushing limits of the IG story formats, this film aims to unite runners and creators alike to take action and create real change.
Together, with the voice and global influence of adidas ambassadors such as David Beckham, Karlie Kloss and Mo Salah, this social campaign aims to give the next generation of activists and creators the knowledge and tools to raise awareness around the issue of plastic trash, while simultaneously driving mass participation for ‘Run for the Oceans’ 2019 event on an unprecedented scale.
