After honing her skills at RAPP, McCann and Quiet Storm, Robyn joined BBD Perfect Storm in 2021

BBD Perfect Storm, the brand and cultural transformation company, today announces the promotion of Robyn Bowman to head of copy, a newly created role within the agency. 

Stepping up from senior copywriter, Robyn will deliver creative leadership that focuses on copy. She will play a crucial role in producing impactful and creative work for the agency’s roster of clients across the UK, the Middle East, Australia, and South America, including Ruffles, Heiz and Severn Trent. As part of this, she will also be responsible for working alongside BBD Perfect Storm’s specialist leads to strengthen the agency’s specialist offerings, including CO/LABS, New Macho, Health and Loyal.  

Robyn brings to this role over a decade of copywriting experience. After honing her skills at RAPP, McCann and Quiet Storm, she joined BBD Perfect Storm in 2021. Here, she has used well-footed comedy and humour to connect with others and produce truly stand-out and purposeful work , including Ruffle’s recent ‘Break the Cycle’ campaign which aimed to tackle violence against women in Mexico, for which she won Best International Campaign at the Independent Agency Awards. She also won Gold at The Drum’s Roses Award for the Roses Creative Award and has been named Next Gen Talent of the Year and a Top 25 Creative at Creativepool’s Annual 2024. She’s also won Gold in the Roses Creative Award.

Robyn Bowman, head of copy, said of her journey, “I’m passionate about our industry being one where absolutely anyone should get the chance to wield that bit of cultural power. To see their words up on a 96 sheet. As I’ve shuffled up the agency org chart, I’ve tried to do what I can to advocate for diversity of voice. Whether that be through book crits with hopeful creatives of all backgrounds, mentorship of junior staff or asking difficult questions of the not-so-junior ones. Now reaching new heights, I plan to do more of the same on a much greater scale: producing great teams that produce great work for great clients.”
