Camp David director Sebastian Reed directs a serene underwater odyssey for Libero’s limited edition line of marine-themed nappies, complete with babies, dolphins and the odd sea lion.
The advert, which aired last weekend on Swedish TV, follows a group of babies swimming through an initially murky looking coral reef before the water clears and our babies encounter the delights of the ocean, including dolphins, turtles, fish and sea lions.
The film introduces Libero’s new incentive to support the struggle to keep our ocean’s cleaner, by having each purchase of the product and view of the film contribute towards the construction of baby pools for endangered species in the North Sea.
Sebastian said of the film, “The goal was to make a simple and beautiful in-camera film," but reveals that "it was a very technical post production process”.
Markus Näslund, the creative director at Momentum added, "We're all very pleased with the result and hope that many will be moved to participate and share the film”.
Filming took place on the Caribbean island of Curacao off the coast of Venezuela, and also in Stockholm.
