Arts Academy Edit’s Kelly Lyon, ACE Wins Emmy Award for Outstanding Picture Editing for Variety Programming

Arts Academy Edit pays tribute to and shares that Kelly Lyon, ACE, has won the Emmy for Outstanding Picture Editing for Variety Programming at the 76th Annual Creative Arts Emmy Awards for her exceptional work on Netflix’s 'John Mulaney Presents: Everybody's in L.A.' This marks Kelly's first Emmy win, showcasing her unparalleled talent and dedication to the craft of editing.

Shared Kelly Lyon, ACE in a statement, "I am absolutely overwhelmed. Winning an Emmy has always been a dream, but I never imagined it would become a reality. As a mom from Portland, Oregon, this feels especially surreal. Working on 'John Mulaney Presents: Everybody’s in L.A.' was a unique and rewarding experience. Kelly’s collaborators on the show, editors Sean McIlraith and Ryan McIlraith also shared in a statement, “We are both honoured and overwhelmed by this recognition. “John Mulaney Presents: Everybody’s in L.A.,” a special series of six live episodes, debuted during the Netflix is a Joke Fest. The unconventional talk show features special guests and field pieces shot in Los Angeles, offering a fresh and innovative take on the late-night format. Kelly's expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro was instrumental in delivering a polished and engaging viewing experience.
