Argos Appoints Razorfish

Razorfish has been appointed by the UK's largest general goods retailer, Argos, to handle its digital work.
 

After enduring a drop in sales from lower income customers and intense competition online, the brand announced a transformation strategy to become a more digitally led company. There are plans afoot to spend £100million to achieve it, as well as the recent appointment of EMI's former vice president, Bertrand Bodson, as its first digital director. 

Razorfish's appointment does not affect Argos's creative account holders, CHI&Partners.
