Arev Manoukian Signs to Troublemakers

Director Arev Manoukian has recently signed to Troublemakers.  Arev plays with art and technology to tell stories in ways that challenge the imagination. Ever meticulous in his work, he thrives on being involved in all aspects of filmmaking, from working closely with talent, to cinematography, music and visual effects.

He recently turned one of his daydreams into an award-winning short film, the stunning hyper-real fantasy Nuit Blanche. The film won the Grand Prize at the LG Film Festival and the coveted Golden Nica at Prix Ars in Europe. It has been featured in magazines such as Wired, Motionographer and Stash Magazine.

It has also been featured at an exhibition at the MMOMA. Since then, Arev has gone on to direct TV, interactive and cinema commercials for Sony, Nokia, 20th Century Fox, Mazda, Ford, the NFL, Cineplex Cinemas and a music video for six-time Grammy Award winning artist Skrillex. He most recently directed the short drama “The Maltese Fighter” in a Malta / Canada co-production.
