Anomaly Berlin is announcing three recent new business wins: Aston Martin, Pukka Teas, and a recently merged biotech organisation (as of yet unnamed) as well as a raft of new projects. These developments come off the back of six years of continuous growth since the office first opened its doors. The 80+ people team already counts Google, Gaggenau, Tiktok and L’Occitane en Provence among its long-term clients, and sees these new wins as a clear demonstration of the agency’s commitment to approaching business problems with diverse thinking - and finding innovative and media agnostic strategic solutions for brands across a wide range of sectors.

Building on its expertise in the luxury sector, the agency has developed its first project for iconic British luxury sports car manufacturer Aston Martin, since winning the business. The new campaign revolves around the exclusive launch of the Valour, a highly innovative, highly limited edition model to commemorate the 110 year anniversary of Aston Martin. The company has created 110 cars that recapture the true spirit of driving, combining retro design and modern materials with raw power.

Anomaly’s approach captures the car’s balancing act of retro and modern through the development of a bespoke design language, called Retro Lux Futurism, which is articulated across a range of assets. Anomaly embraced photography angles from the 1970’s and shot on 16mm film, contrasted with a lighting design that nods to the future. The work highlights a symbol from the past by reimagining Aston Martin's first ever logo, as the iconic monogram celebrates 110 years. The car is photographed and filmed as it would have been shot in the golden age of driving, all intended to ‘recreate the feeling the road forgot’.

This is the first of a number of product launches that the agency has been engaged in by Aston Martin Lagonda.

The agency is also strongly flexing its business transformation, total strategy and strategic design capabilities in the building of a wholly new brand for the newly formed (as yet confidential) biotech entity. As a highly confidential project, many of the details are under wraps, but this will extend into many strands of engagement, consultation and activation.

The most recent addition to Anomaly Berlin’s roster is Pukka Teas, the award-winning maker of organic teas and part of the Lipton Group. Building on a significant experience in the sustainability sphere, which is where a lot of the agency’s work for clients lies, Anomaly has been tasked with the development of a global brand campaign to help relaunch and amplify the brand.

“After six years of growth we can still sense real momentum and energy, which is especially gratifying with the climate being so challenging at the moment. The types and scale of clients we’re attracting and the sheer breadth of projects we’re undertaking are a testament to the ambition and resilience of the agency, and it proves that our unique model is working for those clients who are looking for something different from the run-of-the-mill.” said Simon Owen, CEO and partner, Anomaly Berlin.
