Animation Collective MegaComputeur Tees Off with Hilarious Golf Short

Animation collective MegaComputeur have completed a four week internship at Passion Animation Studios producing a brand new short film, Play Off. The film follows the struggles of an avid miniature golfer being thwarted at every turn by a carefree rival. He’s got all the gear but no matter what he tries (including a few questionable moves..), she’s always one step ahead.

MegaComputeur met with Passion as part of the studio’s search for their paid internship scheme. After pitching their script to Passion’s Executive Producer Debbie Crosscup at the Annecy Animation Festival, it was clear it was something the studio wanted to get behind.

Debbie says, “for just four weeks’ work, the film shows how talented MegaComputeur are, with a year to go in their studies we’re excited to keep supporting them and to see what they do next.”

MegaComputeur have now joined Passion Presents, Passion Animation Studio’s development roster. It’s here that directors are given access to the studio’s resources, advice and support while they either finish their studies or pursue personal projects until they’re ready to enter the commercial world.
