Blending holiday charm with technology, ANGEL’S ENVY, the Louisville-based distiller that produces finished whiskeys, hosted a unique shopping experience in the heart of New York City’s Meatpacking District at Chelsea Market.
Made in partnership with experiential agency, Invisible North, ANGEL’S ENVY crafted the holiday pop-up shop for guests aged 21+ years, and featured an assortment of on-site gifting (made available to shop via QR codes), custom video content showcasing the distillery’s commitment to innovation & craft, a tasting bar where attendees sampled cocktails and savoured ANGEL’S ENVY served neat, and offered a personalised touch with complimentary bottle engraving.
At the heart of the shopping journey, ANGEL’S ENVY created the Whiskey Guardian AI Experience, which stems from their Whiskey Guardian program dedicated to whiskey education. As part of the program, each Whiskey Guardian actively engages with their local bar and restaurant community, believing there’s no better way to reach out to a city or state than through the people who live and serve there. Through an interactive display, the Whiskey Guardian AI Experience invited shoppers to not just purchase, but immerse themselves in an exploration of ANGEL’S ENVY. Featuring a tablet with a mirrored-screen, the experience provided a two-way interaction for guests and retail, encouraging them to pose questions and providing personalised answers spoken via AI voice output.
