This holiday season, Sonos is bringing the joy of music to life with 'Elves of Sound', a spirited hero film that fuses holiday magic, high-energy sound and quirky humour, making Sonos the essential soundtrack for every festive gathering. In line with the brand’s goal to reach new audiences with culture-connecting content, the Elves of Sound hero spot captures the jubilance and connection that music brings to the holiday season.
Elves of Sound was directed by Nabil Elderkin, a renowned Australian-American music video director known for his work with top musical icons like Kendrick Lamar, Dua Lipa and Frank Ocean. Creative agency and production company Invisible North conceptualized, created and produced the hero spot, which will air in :60, :30 and :15 spots, as well as :10 on social.
Consumers around the world will be able to watch, witness and enjoy the Elves of Sound campaign, which launches on Friday, November 1, via cross-channel digital and traditional amplification, OOH displays on New York City’s iconic 34th Street and from retail partners across social, digital and IRL. The brand is also celebrating the season on TikTok with holiday gifting creator partnerships.
The hero film’s stylized grandeur of cinematic visuals and immersive soundscapes capture the jubilance and connection that music brings to the holiday season. Elves of Sound opens with a crew of elves engaging in festive mischief before decking the halls with Sonos while a couple sleeps soundly upstairs. The woman, played by Hayley Law (Riverdale), is jolted awake by her dog’s bark and brings an infectiously cheerful energy when she finds her home outfitted in the latest premium Sonos products, including Sonos Ace, Roam 2, Arc Ultra, Sub 4, Move 2, Era 100 and Era 300.
