JWT announced the promotion of Anes Al-Rayes to ECD JWT Kuwait. Al-Rayes will report in to Ramsey Naja, chief creative officer, JWT MEA. In his new role, Al-Rayes has been charged with solidifying the team’s capabilities and continuing its award winning, integrated creative offering for clients.
Commenting on the news, Naja stated “JWT has always been dedicated to identifying local talent, developing their expertise and where possible, promoting from within. Anes’ appointment demonstrates our commitment to a deep understanding of the markets in which we operate. The nature of our business calls for culturally-specific, fast-evolving work and with our Kuwaiti national, Anes at the helm, we have just that.”
Al-Rayes, joined the agency in 2005 as a copywriter, steadily progressing his career within the Kuwait team by delivering culturally insightful and relevant work, which generated momentum in the market place and drove results for clients, such as Zain.
During his time with JWT Kuwait, Al-Rayes’ contribution to the marketing communications industry has been recognized with multiple awards at regional advertising festivals.
