AnalogFolk London has promoted the Head of Delivery, Ete Davies, to the position of Managing Director. He replaces Matt Law, who has been promoted into the newly created global position of Chief Operating Officer.
Davies, who joined AnalogFolk last year from AKQA, will be responsible for the running of the 140-strong London office, with a focus on driving excellence in creativity through innovation.
Prior to AKQA, Davies held positions at Tribal DDB, FullSix and Modem Media (now DigitasLBi). During his career he has handled award-winning projects including Nike PHOTOiD and Nike+ Training Club app, the Volkswagen UK website, Volkswagen UK ‘The GTI Project’ and Vicks ‘The Vicks Revival’.
Law has held the position of Managing Director since joining the agency in 2011 and has led the agency during a period of strong growth, picking up clients including Absolut, Dulux, Lucozade, Malibu and Sony PlayStation and developing new key offerings including an editorial content division. In his new role, Law takes a global leadership position and will work closely with AnalogFolk’s Chief Executive Officer and Founder, Bill Brock. He will focus on driving business performance through continued growth of AnalogFolk’s five offices, integration of new global services, as well as further expansion into new markets.
Brock commented: “During Matt’s tenure as Managing Director, the London office has more than quadrupled in size, and even during this growth we’ve maintained our unique and much-admired culture. I’m delighted that this experience will now be deployed on an international level to align with our global ambitions.
“In the six months he’s been at AnalogFolk, Ete has demonstrated incredible leadership skills and unparalleled expertise in service design. He’s a strong cultural fit and the perfect successor, so I’m thrilled he’ll be driving the agency forward in the UK.”
Davies added: “2016 is shaping up to be a transformational year for AnalogFolk. I’m very proud to be leading the UK offering through this and I’m excited about our future.”
AnalogFolk was founded in London in 2008 by Bill Brock and Matt Dyke. AnalogFolk opened in Sydney in 2011, where B&T named the office ‘Emerging Agency of the Year’ the following year. In 2013, AnalogFolk opened in New York and in 2015 boosted the US offering through the opening of a Portland office. AnalogFolk also unveiled a Hong Kong office in 2015, its first offering in Asia.
